We are very grateful to all who supported the Tacoma Lesotho Connection Books by the Inch sale last weekend!
Thank you very much to everyone who helped organize the sale, purchased books, or donated to Flowers of Lesotho and Tacoma Lesotho Connection.
We especially wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered storage, modes of transportation, donated books or organized the collection of books. Companies and groups who helped our efforts include:
First United Methodist Church of Tacoma
Bordeaux Wine Locators
The Mayan
UPPC Mothers of Preschoolers
The Spar
See you all next year...!
Aylie and Andrew traveled to Mohale's Hoek, Lesotho in the summer of 2010. We worked with Sr. Juliana and the people of the St. Camillus Centre for Orphaned and Vulnerable Children for 3 weeks, and while we were there the children made some beautiful artwork. We have used images of their cut paper flowers to make note cards and buttons in the hopes of raising money to send back to Sr. Juliana and the people of St. Camillus. Please see below for donation info, and thank you for your support and interest!
